Question
please explain in detail the process of finding four consecutive integers that equal the sum of 18?

Answer
amonpatah~
Choose one of the consecutive numbers to be x and then the next is x+1 and the next after that is
x+2 and the next after that is x+3, now add them up since you are asked for the sum of four consecutive numbers: x + x+1 + x+2 + x+3 = 18 -> 4x + 6 = 18 -> 4x = 12 -> x = 3, so x+1 = 4, x+2 = 5, x+3 = 6 so it must be that 3+4+5+6 = 18 and it does!
