Question
how to solve

1.45645=X^(.373)

Answer
Kyle~
    According to the law of exponents when you take a power to a power you multiply the exponents. You want the exponent on the right to equal 1. What power would you have to raise (x^.373)^? to make the exponent 1? Hint use algebra: .373y = 1 -> y = 1/.373 = 2.68 so you want to raise both sides of the equation to the power of 2.68. (1.45645)^2.68 ~= 2.74 on the left and just x on the right.
