Question
what is the line graph for 2x-y=6?

Answer
There's a number of ways to answer this question. I am going to assume you are new to this idea based on the way you asked the question. One way to graph this line is to let x = 0 and find out what y is and then let y = 0 and find out what x is. So let x = 0 in 2(0)-y = 6 which means that -y = 6 so multipy both sides of the equation by -1 and get
y = -6. This means the point or ordered pair is (0,-6). To find the other point let y = 0 so 2x-0 = 6 and divide both sides by 2 to get
x = 3. So your other point is (3,0). Put both those on the graph and connect the points and that is your line.

Good luck,
