Question
Can you tell me the solution of this problem:
(1) What will be the value of e to the power of minus 6.42 i.e.
e(-0.642). I don't know what e is, may be exponential.

(2) Find the value of T in:
e raised to the power of (-4.851 divided by T) is equal to 0.73 i.e.
{e(-4.851/T)}=0.73

Answer
e^(-.642) = 1/e^(.642) = about .5262

----------------------------------------

e^(-4.851/T) = .73
ln both sides
(-4.851/T) = ln(.73)
T = (-4.851)/ln(.73) or about 15.4141

if you use your computer's calculator, just type in the power first, then  press Inv. Ln

as for the second one, just press .73 then Ln, then to make things easier, divide that by -4.851, then to get the right answer, you raise that value by -1 to get 15.4141
