Question
i keep on solving over and over again but its really hard to come up or to prove with my own equation..can you give me some examples and hints how to make it?
hope you can help me by this.as soon as possible:-)
thanks in advance

Answer
Look for an equation and a variable with a coefficient of 1.  Use it to eliminate that variable in the other equations.  Rearrange if needed.  Then do the same for a second.

[On the computer, cut-and-paste works very nicely.]

You will find plenty of examples in your text.  But be prepared to do plenty of work for each.  There are really no shortcuts.

Expertise

I can answer questions in basic to advanced algebra (theory of equations, complex numbers), precalculus (functions, graphs, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and identities), basic probability, and finite mathematics, including mathematical induction. I can also try (but not guarantee) to answer questions on Abstract Algebra -- groups, rings, etc. and Analysis -- sequences, limits, continuity. I won't understand specialized engineering or business jargon.

Experience

I taught at a two-year college for 25 years, including all subjects from algebra to third-semester calculus.
