Question
a man start walking straight towards east.After walking 75meter ,he turns to the left and walks 25 meters straight.Again he turns left ,walks a distance of 40 meter straight .he turns to the left again and walks a distance of 25 meter.how far is he the straight point,


please explain avobe question..

Hi Pratap~
    The best way to solve this problem is to see it in a picture. The answer is 35m but it is easier to see, so I will draw an image for you. Suffice it to say that you walk east 75m and turn left(north) and proceeds 25m and turn left again(west) going 40m and makes a final left (south)and goes 25m. Think about it you went North 25m but you went south 25m. Even though you went 40m in between you are on the original line and the fact that you went the 40m to the left(west tells you you moved back towards your starting point, so you end up 75-40 = 35m
