find the exact value of tan pi/12 I do not know how to solve this problem so can you please solve this problem for me

I'm so sorry for taking so long. It has been quite a hectic week.
Anyways, you will have to use the half-angle formula.
pi/12 = pi/6/2. So since tan x/2 = sqrt((1 - cosx)/(1 + cosx)), tan
pi/12 = 2 - sqrt(3).
