Question
I have two questions. How would I verify the identities for the following?

1. (cosxCotx)/1-sinx=cscx

2.cosx-(cosx/1/tanx)=(sinxcosx)/)sinx-cosx)"

Answer
1.)
(cos(x)cot(x))/(1 - sin(x)) = csc(x)

(cos(x)(cos(x)/sin(x))/(1 - sin(x))
(cos(x)^2 / sin(x))/(1 - sin(x))
(cos(x)^2)/(sin(x)(1 - sin(x)))
(1 - sin(x)^2)/(sin(x)(1 - sin(x)))
((1 - sin(x))(1 + sin(x)))/(sin(x)(1 - sin(x)))
(1 + sin(x))/sin(x)
(1/sin(x)) + 1
csc(x) + 1

so unless you typed in something wrong, thats how you get

(cos(x)cot(x))/(1 - sin(x)) to equal csc(x) + 1

2.)
can you please retype this.

whats the " at the end suppose to mean, also i think you mistyped something.
