Question
i am in a jam here. i am just now learning about functions and the input and output but one problem just has me stumpped it is

0   1   2   3
1.2 2.2 3.2 4.2

can you help me

Answer
Hi Cayla~
Are you suppose to write the function that relates the input to the output? By listing 2 rows of numbers this doesn't tell me what the instructions for the problem are. I am assuming you need to write a function and what you need to do is look for a pattern, a relationship between the input and the output. The pattern I see if every time you input an whole number you get 1.2 more. So f(x) = x + 1.2. Does this help?
