Question
Estimate the proportion of commuters whose travelling times are within 1 standard deviation of the mean. How to do this?I dont know what formula to use. Can you tell me what formula to use? Thanks you very much

Answer
Warm~
There are a number of ways to determine the standard deviation. You could calculate it by hand using the formula for variance and then taking the square root of your answer because that is the relationship between the variance and standard deviation. Without knowing what information you have it is hard for me to tell you what to do. Please send more info.
