Question
Grouping the data with classes 10-19,20-29,...,60-69,determine the frequencies for these classes & illustrate this grouped frequency distribution with a suitable diagram. I dont understand the word in this maths question "illustrate" means it is asking you to sketch or draw on the graph paper?Thanks a lot

    In this case I believe they are hinting for you to use a histogram which is just a vertical bar graph. You would separate the data into the categories (classes) they gave you and count the number of entries in each class and that is how high the bar would go. The width of the bar is the length of the class, i.e.,the first class is all the data points in 10-19 and the width is 10 because you are including any values between 10 and 19 and including 10 and 19 etc. Hope this helps, if you need more info, write again.
