Hello MR. Salami,
can you please take a look at the attach file. I not quite sure how to get to my answer.I hope you can show me and explain .I would grateful.here's the question . Please see the attached jepg
1-given the circle has a radius of mm, what is the length of  X
A. 4.5MM
B. 5.7MM
C. 8.5MM
D. 9.5MM

Hi Terry,
Considering the left triangle we see that the two perpendicular sides have lengths 4mm (because they are both radii) and the slant side has length x.
By the Pythagoras' Theorem,
x^2 = 4^2 + 4^2
   = 16 + 16
   = 32
x = sqrt(32)
 = 5.7 mm
