Question
x^3+5x^2+2x=0

Answer
Hi Tim~
    Please post the question you need answered. I am going to assume you want to solve this equation. factor first: x(x^2+5x+2)= 0. So either x = 0 or x^2+5x+2 = 0 You can either use completing the square or the quadratic formula to factor x^2+5x+2: (using quadratic formula)[-5+-sqrt(5^2-4(1)(2))]/2 which means that
x = [-5 +-sqrt(17)]/2 -> x = [-5+sqrt(17)]/2 or x = [-5-sqrt(17)]/2
