1.) 13 ± 4i
2.) ±4i + 4 - 2i = 4 - 6i or 4 - 2i
3.) 5 + 2i
4.) -11 + 8i
5.) 2 - 2i
6.) if you mean (5 + 2i)(4 + 3i), then 20 + 15i + 8i + 6i^2 = 20 + 23i - 6 = 14 + 23i
7.) -8i - 6i^2 = 6 - 8i
8.) -30i - 25i^2 = 25 - 30i

9.) Multiply top and bottom by the conjugate of 1 - i
((6 + 8i)(1 + i))/(1 - i^2)
(6 + 6i + 8i + 8i^2)/(1 + 1)
