Studying CIE A LEVEL MATHEMATICS, topic is on forces & equilibrium & Newton's Laws of Motion. A ring of mass 4kg threaded on a fixed rough vertical rod.A light string is attached to the ring, & is pulled with a force of magnitude T N acting at an angle of 60degrees to the downward vertical. The ring is in equilibrium. The normal & frictional components of the contact force exerted on the ring by the rod are R N & F N respectively. Find R & F in terms of T. I only want to know how does the diagram look like, please help. Many thanks

I did my best.  I am not sure exactly what is going on here.

It looks as if  F + R = - T.
