My answer: Q equals {a,b,c}

b. The set containing 1 and 3 only is not a subset of {1, 4, 6, 7}
My answer: {1,3} is the subset of {1,2,3}

c. The set containing 1 and 3 only is not a subset of {1,4,6,7}

d. The empty set does not contain 0 as an element.

Thank you for your help!

Answer
Edward~

Q = {a,b,c}
{1,3} not a subset of {1,4,3, 7}
b = c
0 is not an element of { }

Math Prof

I know you wanted this written with symbols but there are no symbols on my keyboard so in place of "not a subset of" you would use the tilde ~ and the subset symbol, and in place of "is not an element of" use the tilde and the epsilon symbol.
