Question
I'm retaking the casaba and i score very well on everything besides on Antiemetic reasoning and math knowledge, I have the most problems with Arithmetic Reasoning such as questions as Bob went to a clothing store and bought 57.25 worth of clothing, the store also has a 20% deal and gave his cashier a 100 bill, how much does he get back, is there any way that i could figure this out without having a brain surge?

Thank You,
Jim

Answer
I don't know what's a casaba...a fruit??

Anyway, back to your question. I assume the 100 dollar bill is given by Bob to the cashier?

Firstly, you need to know whats the actual price...i.e.57.25with 20% deal, which is 57.25*(1-0.2)
=45.80

What's the change, then? obviously what ya paid minus what ya should pay, right? 100-45.80=?, figure this out yourself.

I hope you don't have any problem calculating, at least. Good luck.
