Question
Q> Find the area under the graph of y = 2(e^1-2x) from x = 0 to x = ln(2) .

Answer
Hi Anurag,
For y = 2e^(1-2x), the area from x = 0 to x = ln(2) is
A = ∫2e^(1-2x) dx   from x = 0 to ln(2)
= [-e^(1-2x)]   from x = 0 to ln(2)
= [-e.e^(-2x)]   from x = 0 to ln(2)
= [-e.e^(-2ln(2))] - [-e.e^(0)]
= [-e.e^(ln(1/4))] - [-e]
= -e(1/4) + e
= -e/4 + e
= 3e/4
