Question
Show that the minute -hand of a clock gains 5 degree and 30 second on the hour- hand in one minute

Answer
Hi Dhananjay,
In one hour, the minute-hand goes 360 degrees while the hour-hand only goes 30 degrees which is then a gain of 330 degrees. So, in one minute, the gain is
330/60 = 5.5
i.e 5 degrees and 30 minutes (since 1 degree = 60 minutes)
