Question
I have the following four equations, and need to solve for the four unknowns.  Reduced row echelon form does not provide a valid response.

a + c = 25
a + d = 35
b + c = 35
b + d = 45

Answer
Kane~

You can't find a solution for the 4 unknowns because this is a dependent system. Row 2 and Row 4 become the same so there are only 3 independent variables and the solution is:
a+d = 35
b+d = 45
c-d = -10

and d can be anything you please
