Helicopter Training Program Course offered by Pawan Hans Ltd.
-------------------------------------------------------------

1. Is there any Age eligibility criteria for the Helicopter Training Program ?.
Can retired people i.e. age over 55 years can undergo for this training ?.

If No, Can you please state the reasons ?.

Example : 4 Wheeler Motor Training course of 1-2 months duration do not have any age eligibility.

2. What are the Fees and Duration for the course offered ?.

3. Will the Helicopter Training Program cover the Helicopter flying experience for the Training participant ?.
i.e. After completing the course, the training participant would be able to fly the rented Helicopter offered by Pawan Hans Ltd.

I have forwarded my questions to Pawan Hans Ltd.

Point 1 & Point 3
------------------

Don't you feel there should be no age eligibility criteria i.e. 30 years and above can also enroll for the course ?.

The Motor Driving schools in India do not keep any age criteria for training 4 Wheeler i.e. Cars, Jeeps etc so why keep age eligibility criteria for Helicopter Training Program ?

The Helicopter Maintenance course contents can be revised to include Practical demonstration of Helicopter Flying User Experience which will after successfully completing the course will give a valid Helicopter flying licence to the Training Participant.

I require your inputs regarding Point 1 & Point 3.

Awaiting your reply,

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant S Akerkar

Answer
1. Is there any Age eligibility criteria for the Helicopter Training Program ?
 I don't know of one.

Note on the side: By the way, the question mark needs no period after it.
A sentence in English (or do you call it Americanish?) needs a period,
question mark, or exclamation point at the end of it.  There is also no
 space before any of them

 Ex. Yes, that's so!  Understand?

Can retired people i.e. age over 55 years can undergo for this training ?.

 I looked at http://www.offroad-ed.com/michigan/handbook/page/32/Operator-Age-Restrictions
and found the age restriction to be 10 and up.  There was no retirement age, so the
 person's age doesn't matter.

2. What are the Fees and Duration for the course offered ?

It seems like they run around $25 for the first time test takers and $10 afterwards.

3. Will the Helicopter Training Program cover the Helicopter flying experience for the Training participant?

I have no idea, but it seem like it would be the same as a car license.

Point 1 & Point 3
------------------
Don't you feel there should be no age eligibility criteria i.e. 30 years and above can also enroll for the course?

Yeah, that's how I feel, but these are just feelings ...
 nothing more than feelings ...

of course, that may date me, for that's an old song ... you know that song?

The Motor Driving schools in India do not keep any age criteria for training 4 Wheeler i.e. Cars, Jeeps etc so why keep age eligibility criteria for Helicopter Training Program?

The requirements are kept by each government, and it is best
to go with what the country you're in says about it.

The Helicopter Maintenance course contents can be revised to include Practical demonstration of Helicopter Flying User Experience which will after successfully completing the course will give a valid Helicopter flying licence to the Training Participant.

Now at the bottom I found, "I require your inputs regarding Point 1 & Point 3."
That's cool, but it looks like I have already answered Point 2 as well, right?

Expertise

I can answer any question in general math, arithetic, discret math, algebra, box problems, geometry, filling a tank with water, trigonometry, pre-calculus, linear algebra, complex mathematics, probability, statistics, and most of anything else that relates to math. I can also say that I broke 5 minutes for a mile, which is over 12 mph, but is that relevant?

Experience

Experience in the area; I have tutored people in the above areas of mathematics for over two years in AllExperts.com. I have tutored people here and there in mathematics since before I received a BS degree back in 1984. In just two more years, I received an MS degree as well, but more on that later. I tutored at OSU in the math center for all six years I was there. Most students offering assistance were juniors, seniors, or graduate students. I was allowed to tutor as a freshman. I tutored at Mathnasium for well over a year. I worked at The Boeing Company for over 5 years. I received an MS degreee in Mathematics from Oregon State Univeristy. The classes I took were over 100 hours of upper division credits in mathematical courses such as calculus, statistics, probabilty, linear algrebra, powers, linear regression, matrices, and more. I graduated with honors in both my BS and MS degrees. Past/Present Clients: College Students at Oregon State University, various math people since college, over 7,500 people on the PC from the US and rest the world.

Publications
My master's paper was published in the OSU journal. The subject of it was Numerical Analysis used in shock waves and rarefaction fans. It dealt with discontinuities that arose over time. They were solved using the Leap Frog method. That method was used and improvements of it were shown. The improvements were by Enquist-Osher, Godunov, and Lax-Wendroff.

Education/Credentials
Master of Science at OSU with high honors in mathematics. Bachelor of Science at OSU with high honors in mathematical sciences. This degree involved mathematics, statistics, and computer science. I also took sophmore level physics and chemistry while I was attending college. On the side I took raquetball, but that's still not relevant.

Awards and Honors
I earned high honors in both my BS degree and MS degree from Oregon State. I was in near the top in most of my classes. In several classes in mathematics, I was first. In a class of over 100 students, I was always one of the first ones to complete the test. I graduated with well over 50 credits in upper division mathematics.

Past/Present Clients
My clients have been students at OSU, people who live nearby, friends with math questions, and several people every day on the PC. I would guess that you are probably going to be one more.
