Question
state the domain of each function.

f(x)=3x/x^2-5

how do i do it?

Answer
(3x)/(x^2 - 5)

x^2 - 5 =‚ 0
x^2 =‚ 5
x =‚ sqrt(5)

i would use the not equal sign, but the site doesn't allow those kinds of characters.

domain

x < -5
-5 < x < 5
x > 5

for a graph, go to www.calculator.com/calcs/GCalc.html

and only type in (3x)/(x^2 - 5)
