a)  If the coordinates of a point satisfy the inequality xy > 0, then (x,y) must be in quadrant 1.

b)  The ordered pair (2,5) satisfies 3y-2x=-4

c) If a point is on the x-axis, it is neither up nor down, so x = 0.

d)  none of the above is true.

Thanks,
Dan

Answer
a.)
xy > 0
x and y can both be positive or negative, so the answer is
Quadrant I and III, so this one isn't true.

b.)
3y - 2x = -4
3(5) - 2(2) = -4
15 - 4 = -4
11 = -4
So this one isn't true

c.)
x is up and down. so this one isn't true. Its y that is neither

ANS : d.) none of the above.
