Question
use substituition to find the following integrals:

x (x - 2) ^ 15

Answer
Hi Lill,

Okay, lets use u = x-2.  Then du = dx and x = u+2 so you have

     INT [(u+2)* u^15 * dx]

=     INT [u^16 + 2u^15 * dx]

=     u^17 / 17 + 2* u^16 / 16 + C

=     (x-2)^17 / 17 + 2(x-2)^16 / 16 + C

=     1/17 * (x-2)^17 + 1/8 * (x-2)^16 + C
