Question
Hi,
I have a problem with understanding "main" difference between line integrals.
I know different way of making these integrals, "vector and scalar function stories" but in fact I do not understand "main" difference: What does it mean when I use one kind and what the other one.
Thank.
Stanko

Answer
Hello Stanko,
Did you mean the difference between line integrals concerning vector and scalar functions?
Anyway, line integrals are just integrals in which we are summing along a line. It doesn't matter what kind of function.
The evaluation of this line integrals normally means the summation of a particular quantity (vector or scalar)along a line.
There is, however, no significant difference.
I hope this helps, otherwise, i am always here.
Regards.
