Question
List all the possible rational zeros of p(x)=2x^3-3x^2+4x-6.

Answer
p(x) = 2x^3 - 3x^2 + 4x - 6

2x^3 - 3x^2 + 4x - 6 = (2x^3 + 3x^2) + (4x - 6)

(2x^3 - 3x^2) + (4x - 6) = x^2(2x - 3) + 2(2x - 3)

since both x^2 and 2 have (2x - 3) as a factor, you can combine them to get

(x^2 + 2)(2x - 3)

x = -isqrt(2), isqrt(2), (3/2)

however since you wanted rational zeros only,

x = (3/2)
