Question
Hi,

What low cost options do you recommend in which my live at home wife can provide advanced math to my home schooled kids? My wife didn't take Calculus. Is there a way my kids could learn Calculus?

Answer
Here are some of my favorite sites.

www.math.gatech.edu/~cain/notes/calculus.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calculus

www.quickmath.com

www.calculator.com

www.ping.be/~ping1339/gonio.htm (Trig)

www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~jmahaffy/courses/f00/math122/lectures/trig/trig.html

www.mathwords.com/r/reference_angle.htm

www.teacherschoice.com.au/Maths_Library/Angles/Angles.htm

www.oakroadsystems.com/twt/sixfunc.htm

www.gcseguide.co.uk/sin,_cos,_tan.htm

www.math.com/tables/trig/identities.htm

www.rookscape.com/vbgaming/tutBK.html

If these sites are not helpful, you can always have them to give me a try and i might be able to show them step by step on how to go about doing the work. However even though i too haven't had calculus, i might still be able to help. I have had people asking me how to do some problem i didn't know how to do, but after looking up how to do them, i was able to help them even though i can't remember doing the work the were needing help for.
