Question
I stink at probability, I am taking this course through distant learning and need help!

Here is the problem, If two dice are rolled 360 times, approximately how many times should you expect a sum of 7?

Answer
i stink at probability about as much as you, but here goes anyway.

2 dice, 6 sides, 360 times, 2 dice make 7, so i guess the probability is 60 times.

I got (2 * 360)/(2 * 6), the 2s cancel, 360/6 = 60 not completely certain, but it sounds reasonable.

Correction on the above in case you read it already.

(360 * 2)/(2 * 6 * 2) = 360/12 = 60/2 = 30, i think it might be 30 times
