Question
I x + 1 l - I y I = 3
absolute vale x + 1 subtact absolute value y equals three
I need to graph this and show my work
|x + 1| - |y| = 3
-|y| = -|x + 1| + 3
|y| = |x + 1| - 3
For a graph, go to www.quickmath.com, click on Plot under Equations, type it in like i have it, and you will get a graph with
Domain : x < -4 or x > 2
