Question
i have a question on how to solve a logrithmic expression. the  problem is...

log(base2)5+ log(base2)7 = ?

Answer
log(2)5 + log(2)7
log(2)(5 * 7)
log(2)35

this is only allowed because both the 5 and 7 have the same log base

log(x)a + log(x)b = log(x)(ab)
log(x)a - log(x)b = log(x)(a/b)
log(x^a) = alog(x)
