Answer
tan(x)(sin(x) + cot(x)cos(x)) = sec(x)
tan(x)(sin(x) + (cos(x)/sin(x))cos(x)) = sec(x)
tan(x)(sin(x) + (cos(x)^2/sin(x)) = sec(x)
tan(x)((sin(x)^2 + cos(x)^2)/(sin(x))) = sec(x)
tan(x)(1/sin(x)) = sec(x)
(sin(x)/cos(x))(1/sin(x)) = sec(x)
1/cos(x) = sec(x)
sec(x) = sec(x)
