   Hi Sherman.  How are you doing today?  Hope all is well.  I'm having trouble with these to problems.  Here they are:

1.  x+4/2  =  x+4/x

2.  x+3/x-1  =  x+2/x-3

Answer
if by these you mean

1.)
(x + 4)/2 = (x + 4)/x
Cross multiply
2(x + 4) = x(x + 4)
divide both sides by (x + 4)
x = 2

2.)
(x + 3)/(x - 1) = (x + 2)/(x - 3)
cross multiply
(x + 3)(x - 3) = (x + 2)(x - 1)
x^2 + 3x - 3x - 9 = x^2 - x + 2x - 2
x^2 - 9 = x^2 + x - 2
subtract x^2 from both sides
-9 = x - 2
add 2 to both sides
x = -7

If this isn't what you mean't please let me know. Here is some other possible looks

1.)
x + (4/2) = (x + 4)/x
x + (4/2) = x + (4/x)
(x + 4)/2 = x + (4/x)

2.)
x + (3/x) - 1 = (x + 2)/(x - 3)
x + (3/x) - 1 = x + (2/x) - 3
(x + 3)/(x - 1) = x + (2/x) - 3
