Question
Hi,
I know this question is probably easy for you so sorry to ask.

If i were to travel the speed of light for 56 million kilometers to 56 million km to 101 million km (as in a range) how long would it take?

Thanks a heap!
Chris

Answer
are you saying you traveled at the speed of light for 56 million km, then you traveled another 56 million km, going the same speed, then you traveled another 101 million km at the same speed, then

If you are asking for the total time to go from 56 km to 56 more km to 101 more km or 213 km total.

speed of light = 186,000 mi/sec = 299300 km/s

(213million)/(.2993 million) =
711.6605413 seconds =
11.86100902 hours =
11 hours and 51.66054126 minutes =
11 hours, 51 minutes, and 39.6324756 seconds

to break it down to the nearest second.

but if you are taking about the ranges from

0 to 56 million km
56 to 56 km more
from (56 + 56) or 112 km to 101 more km

then just let me know and i will give you the different ranges.
