x+2y-z=-1
z=2x-y
solve system.
2x + y + z = 8
x + 2y - z = -1
z = 2x - y
3x + 3y = 7
x + y = (7/3)
y = -x + (7/3)
2x + y + (2x - y) = 8
2x + y + 2x - y = 8
4x = 8
x = 2
y = -2 + (7/3)
y = (-6/3) + (7/3)
y = (1/3)
z = 2(2) - (1/3)
z = 4 - (1/3)
z = (12/3) - (1/3)
z = (11/3)
x = 2
y = (1/3)
z = (11/3)
what i do is, i use www.quickmath.com to see what answer they come up with and i work it out until i found out how they get the answer.
