3x^2+4x=15 x^2-7x+12-0
3x^2 + 4x = 15
x^2 + (4/3)x = 5
x^2 + (4/3)x + (4/9) = (139/9)
(x + (2/3))^2 = (139/9)
x + (2/3) = (1/3)sqrt(139)
x = (-2/3) ± (1/3)sqrt(139)
x = (-2 ± sqrt(139))/3
x = 3.2633 or -4.5966
-------------------------
x^2 - 7x + 12 = 0
(x - 4)(x - 3) = 0
x = 4 or 3
so Column B i believe is the greater column.
