I would like to know how to convert the following

28.8mg/g  =  ? ug/g

I do not know what a ug is or where it falls on the scale.

the "u" stands for micro.

28.8mg/g = (x ug)/g

mg = 10^-3 grams
ug = 10^-6 grams

so to go from mg to ug or larger to smaller, you would multiply by 1000, because there would be more micros inside of something of a larger amount.

28.8mg/g = 28,800 ug/g

By the way, by you using ug/g why would you have a gram divided by another gram.
