Question
Cylinder is 24"deep and the volume is 160FT3, What is the diameter?

Answer
Hi Xavier,

Okay, the cylinder's height, h = 2 ft.

The volume, v = 160 ft^3

The volume formula is

  V = pi * r^2 * h, so we have 160 = pi * r^2 * 2

and then r^2 = 160/2pi = 25.4647  and r = 5.046

and then diameter d = 2 * 5.046 = 10.09 ft.

Hope this helps out.
