The way this shows

20% of x
x = the 1964 production, then

50 * .2 = 10 tons

so the 1965 production was 10 tons

So i hope you mean 3. 10 tons instead of 100 tons

1.) if the 1965 was increased by 200%, then the answer would be 1965 was 50 + 100, which equals 150tons, so #1 and #2 would be the same.

3.) If 1965 was 200% of 1964, then the answer would be 100 tons.

4.) If 1965 was 2400% of 1964, then the answer would be 1200 tons.

So for your answer to exist, something was typed wrong.
