Question
Hi, again, I went to www.calculator.com and wasn't able to figure out how to plug my values into the site to get the graph i was look'n for ...
can you give me a step by step instruction .... there are too many boxes and not sure where or which is the "x" or "y" components for me to plug in.

Also, I thot I might be able to solve this one, but can you help me with this one too?
For the exponential function e^x and logarithmic function log x, graphically show the effect if x is doubled.

thanx a bunch.

Answer
when you go to www.calculator.com, make sure to leave out the "y", only when it is in y = form, however if it is in ax + by = c form, you will have to solve for y to get the graph to show up correctly. However if you go to www.quickmath.com that doesn't matter.

If by boxes you are talking about the margins, that is just how big you want the graph to be.

as for the e^x, if x were doubled, you have to type it like this

e^(2x) and log(2x)

as for know which is the x and which is the y, the graph will tell you the values of x and y.

as for quickmath.com, click on Plot located under Equations for graphs, or you can click solve for answers. For 2 graphs or more at once, you have to click on Advanced which will be found at Plot or Solve.

Let me know if you figure it out.
