Question
1) express the area and perimeter of an equilateral triangle as a function of the triangle's side length x.
2) express the edge length of a cube as a function of the cube's diagonal length d. then express the surface area and volume as a function of the diagonal length.

Answer
1.)
P = 3x
A = (x²sqrt(3))/4

-----------------------------------------------------------

If you are talking about a perfect cube.

2.)
d(x) = xsqrt(3)
T = 6x^2
V = x^3

I hope that is what you were wanting.

Info found at http://mathforum.org/dr.math/faq/formulas/

Where it states "as a function of" is where i don't know how to write it correctly. I just write what it showed me.

By the way, if you see "K" that just means Area. "T" means total surface area.
