Question
1.  The line parallel to 6x + 14y = 20

2.  A revenue functions is R(x) = 28 and a cost functions is C(x) = -15x + 344.  the break-even point is?

3.  An item costs $900, has a scrap value of $50, and a usefull live of five years.  Teh linear equation relating book value and number of years is?  

Answer
1.)
6x + 14y = 20
14y = -6x + 20
y = (-3/7)x + (10/7)

ANS :
y = (-3/7)x + b
now just insert any value for b excecpt for (10/7), unless you want the problem to have infinite solutions.

-15x + 344 = 28
-15x = -316
x = 21.0667

3.) 900 = 5x - 50
