i have a fish pond that is 11 ft long ,5 ft 3 1/2 feet wide and 32 inches deep i would like to know how many gallons of water this should hold because i have to put a chemical in it to clean the fish pond that will not harm my fish. i was given an amount to put in the pond but it is killing my fish please help me to determine how many gallons this is thank you

Answer
Hi Geraldine,

Okay you have , in feet, the following dimensions:

11 ft by 5.3 ft by 2.67 ft

Multiplying, you get 155.66 cu. ft.

Each cu ft of water contains 7.5 gallons, so you have a total of 7.5 x 155.66 = 1167 gallons of water.

I hope this helps you out.
