Question
give the domain, range, and zeroes of the functions.

1) f(x)= absolute val. [x] +3
2) f(t)= sqrt (4-t^2)
3) f(x)= 15-2x-x^2

Answer
Hi,
Really sorry for the delay, i was having my exams and project study.
1)x and f(x) can take all values. No zeros as well.

2)t^2 should be <= 4, hence -2 <= t <= 2
range is -2 <= f(t) <= 2

3)x can take all values.
maximum value of f(x) occurs when d/dx (15-2x-x^2)= -2 - 2x
equals zero i.e x = -1, y = 16
hence, range is y <= 16

Sorry for the delay and any mix up.
Regards.
