Question
What kind of solutions does ax^2-bx+c=0 have if b^2-4ac<0?
two real solutions, two complex solutions, one complex
solution, or one real solution?

Answer
If you really did mean to type ax^2 - bx + c = 0 instead of ax^2 + bx + c = 0, then i believe the answer this remains the same, but i am not certain, since the most common equationi is ax^2 + bx + c = 0.

b^2 - 4ac > 0 = 2 real solutions
b^2 - 4ac = 0 = 1 real solution
b^2 - 4ac < 0 = 2 complex solutions

so the answer is 2 complex solutions
