Question
the lcd for the fractions 1/3, 3/4, 5/32, and 8/9 is.
If you could please help me out with this id really appreciate it. could you please take me step by step to show me the answe. thankyou

Answer
Here is how you find it

(1/3)
(3/4) or (3/(2*2))
(5/32) or (5/(2*2*2*2))
(8/9) or (8/(3*3))

so to find the LCD, you would do this

3 * 3 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 = 9 * 32 = 288

LCD = 288

(1/3) = (1/96)
(3/4) = (3/72)
(5/32) = (45/288)
(8/9) = (256/288)

By the way, you can't always take the highest as the LCD or take the highest values and multiply them.
