Question
hey Mr.! I don't get how to do this..

Find http://img02.picoodle.com/img/img02/8/5/16/f_eqm_d4032b0.png

i don't just plug it in my calculator as [log][6.66][pi] right? lol, that seems way too easy!

Answer
Hello Kay,

Well, almost.

There's a formula to change bases on logarithms.

For example, if you have to find log(base 7) 300, you can calculate

   log(base 10) 300 / log(base 10) 7

of   ln 300 / ln 7  .  I like to use ln, but it doesn't matter which you use.

Your expression would be done:

   log(base 6.66) pi = ln pi / ln 6.66 = 0.6037
