Question
use the properties of logarithms to rewrite this logarithm as a single logarithm:

2lnx^2 + lnx-ln(4x-1)

thanks

Answer
i have no idea if this works or not, since i am treating the "ln" as a variable. I have never dealt with this type of "ln" type problem, but here goes

2lnx^2 + lnx - ln(4x - 1)

ln(2x^2 + x - (4x - 1))

ln(2x^2 + x - 4x + 1)

ln(2x^2 - 3x + 1)

or

2lnx^2 - 3lnx + ln

But like i said earlier i have no idea for sure if that is correct, but if you like you can ask other experts to see what they give you.
