Question
Could you please help me with this question:

A positive number can be represented by a two-digit numeral. If five times the sum of its digits is added to the number, the digits are reversed. What is the number?

Thank you for your time.

Answer
10x + y = original number

5(x + y) + (10x + y) = 10y + x

5x + 5y + 10x + y = 10y + x
15x + 6y = 10y + x
14x = 4y
y = (7/2)x

If you plug in some values you get numbers like
(0,0), (2,7), (4,14), (6,21), etc... which gives you 0, 27, 414, 621, etc...

but since your problem requests a 2 digit numeral, all i could come up with is 27 as the answer.
