Question
In a 4*4*4 cube

there will be 64 small cubes on each side

of these what cubes will be the diognal cubes

to be clear

when a cube is totally coloured with red colour

then we will have three faces, two faces, and one face cubes

that the first and last rows and first and last columns will have two faces, corners cube will have three colours and middle will have single color

my doubt is which cubes are called digonals cubes

pls let me know this answer

if my question is not clear pls reply me so that i can post again clearly

i don't know exactly how to state this, but

the diagonal cubes are the ones on each corner and they go from there to the center. since you have an even number of cubes sqrt(64) = 8, you will have 4 cubes in the center instead of one.

ANS : 16 cube on each side are diagonal. 4 corners, 4 center, and 8 side faces total.
