Question
i need to know how much seed i would need if i have seed with 86% oil and some with 20% oil. how would i find out how much seed i would need to make a blend of 65%

Answer
first of all, how much 86% oil seeds and 20% oil seeds do you have.

I need to know how much seed you have to start with.

For ex: if i have x amount of a substance at y%, then you would need to know how much of a solution you would have to add to that amount that you already have to get a z%.

Are you saying you have 86% oil in one bag and 20% oil in another bag, and you need to know how much to add from both to get a 65% solution.
